Asthishrunkala Kalka- a Calcium supplement
Asthishrunkala is famous as cissus quadrangularis ,is a well known calcium rich herb.
In many regions of India it is used as a vegetable .it is famous as so because whole herb is used mainly in the treatment of fractures.
Kalka is herbal paste,where fresh herbs are grounded using mortar and pestle to obtain its therapatuic effects, used internally and externally .
Preparation of kalka;Ingredients;
Asthishrunkala stem,water,salt,coconut
Method of preparation;
Asthishrunkala stems are washed well and grounded in mortair and pestel
It is grounded by adding sufficent water , then grinded coconut coconut is added and mixed well
To this mixture sufficent salt is added, consumed with rice or any other food article .
Dose;
2 table spoon per day
