Tea has a special place in people’s hearts. The love for tea is such that there is also a day dedicated specially for this beverage. Every year on May 21 the International Tea Day is celebrated across the globe. This day is celebrated to recognise the long history of tea that goes back to more than 5,000 years. On this day, people are also reminded of the economic and cultural significance that this beverage has around worldwide. 

Tea as a hot beverage is a regular entertainer, a source of living, a refreshing drink, an excuse for discussions, a part of gossip culture and a household tradition in India.

On this special occasion we are sharing  magical fragnanted parijata tea. 

Parijat, fondly known as the Night Jasmine flower is well known not only for its ornamental nature but also for its wide range of medicinal qualities. 

Parijata holds a strong place in ayurvedic scriptures for the treatment of various disease conition since ancient times. According to the indian mythology parijata is mentioned as a "tea from heaven". 


METHOD OF PREPARATION

The following steps are followed while preparing  Ayurvedic teas;

  • Herb –parijata flowers are washed and pounded into paste. 
  • 1 part of  pounded paste + 16 Parts of water 
  • Boil in mild fire
  • Evaporate water by boiling till 1/8th reduction
  • Filter
  • Use it  with honey when cooled down Have it when fresh

DOSE -30- 150 ml

  • Relieves Pain And Inflammation;Helpfull in rheumatoid arthritis , painful muscle spasms, sore muscles, sciatica .
  • Combats Respiratory issues-.  It is vital in treating the common cold, sore throat, cough and flu, cough, asthma and other bronchial conditions.
  • Promoted digestion this helpful in constipation, indigestion, gastritis
  • Regulates Diabetes
  • Manages Blood Pressure
  • Treats  piles
  • Augments Skin-Treats kin infections like acne, warts, boils, eczema, blisters, itching ,combates wrinkles, fine lines, spots, pigmentation
  • Strengthens hairs-It is extremely useful for treating dandruff, revitalizing dull, lifeless hair.  it also prevents hair fall and premature greying of hair.

PRECAUTIONS; 

  • Do not overdose quantity of tea .
  • Do not use honey when it's too hot Or mix honey during boiling as it is toxic
