Ashwatta tea


Ashwatta is famous as bhodi vruksha. It is considered as sacred tree people worship it for their beliefs hence known as peepal tree.Ashwattta embedded with medicinal properties used in ayurvedic medicine  for the treatment of cough, skin diseases of skin,nausea, vomiting, diarrhea .

Method of preparation;

The following steps are followed while preparing  Ayurvedic teas;

  • Herb –Ashwatta leaves are washed and pounded into paste. 
  • 1 part of  pounded paste + 16 Parts of water 
  • Boil in mild fire boiling continued till 1/8th of water reduction
  • Filter and serve it fresh hot.

Dose; 50-60ml

Benifits;

  • Used for treating joint pain and swelling. 
  • Relives cough, bleeding disorders, vomiting. 
  • Cures mouth ulcers and gingivitis. 
  • Heals wounds. 

Precautions;

  • Do not overdose quantity of tea. 
  • Do not use honey when it's too hot Or mix honey during boiling.
